If We Can Change Our Attitude Towards Certain Realities of Life, We Can Also Change Our Lives Accordingly.

But, what we do when we hear some bad news, or face some difficulty or disappointment, most of us have developed a habit to react negatively specially in case of adversity of which we have no answer to respond positively. We overreact, blow in anger, become too tight and always focus on negative aspects of life. In this way we loose sight of life’s bigger picture and start ruining everything, even our relationships with others, which might help us otherwise. Our overreaction and frustration makes the worse matters worst.

In other words we make our lives as a big deal and rush to solve one problem after problem, but in fact we are often compounding them. In this way we end up our lives dealing with one drama after another. This is a normal phenomenon, which we have developed to solve life’s problems.

Actually, a problem does not frustrate us but a way we relate our thinking to our problems has lot to do with the solution of the problem itself and our sense of happiness. If we learn to respond to life’s problems with more ease, they will become more manageable to resolve, which once seems knotty and unmanageable?

Fortunately, there is another way to respond to life that is much softer and more graceful way of responding but it involves replacing old habits of negative responding into new habits of positive responding to life’s challenges.

I would like to share a little story here, which makes the point clearer.

The Pakistan Movement was at peak. The Congress Leader Nehru called names and abuses Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (Founder of Pakistan) and other Muslim League leaders, which also published in the Newspaper. One of the Muslim League Leaders, Mr. Sardar Abdul Rab Nishtar got angry and asked Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that we will also reply them in the same manner.

But Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah replied that for instance if Dog is barking at you in a way, you should not start barking on him in the same manner. We have a great mission ahead to focus on. Let them say what they are saying at the moment or what language they are using. They want to annoy us and divert our attention from our purpose. The world will see our achievements in the Future and the world saw he gave a separate homeland Pakistan to the oppressed Muslims of India.
